The Challenge
This year, in just under 2 months time I will be skydiving from 13,000ft to raise money for an amazing local charity called the Children’s Respite Trust.
The Charity
The Trust helps local families with disabled children by getting them a break. They have carers across East Sussex, Surrey and Kent who give a few hours a week to look after the children in their own homes. These are some of the most unwell children in our community and so their care needs are 24/7. It means that these families get the chance to do something that the rest of us take for granted like spending time with their other children, who otherwise miss out on so much. If you want to check out the Charity’s web page (www.crtcharity.org) or Facebook (facebook.com/childrensrespitetrust), there’s plenty more information about the important work they do.
You can help….. push me out!
I’m taking on this challenge to help others, but I need your help too. If you can support me by making a donation of any amount, large or small, it would mean a lot to me and would make a big difference to the work of the Children’s Respite Trust. Please follow this link to make a donation, Please sponsor me
Thank you!
The jump!
The jump will take place from Headcorn Airfield which is in the heart of Kent. Their website says that on a tranquil descent I will have time to take in the breath taking views which include Leeds castle and if I’m lucky the shores of Calais! Best try and keep my eyes open then!
Unsurprisingly lots of offers to pack my parachute! It’s good to have friends!
